Metadata Configuration
The following fields are configurable:
Configurable Fields | Field Type |
|---|---|
Status | Single Select |
Scope of Application | Multi-Select |
Owner | Single-Select User Picker |
Reviewer | Multi-Select User-Picker |
For the fields Status and Scope of Application you can configure as much values as needed as selectable options in the metadata macro for the specific space. Each value needs to be in a separate line to appear as a select option in the metadata macro for the users.
All configurable fields in the space settings can be set either:
Mandatory: must be filled with a value to be able to save a metadata macro on a page
Disabled: deactivate this configurable field so it does not appear in the metadata macro for this space
Change Log
All changes made in the space setting → metadata configuration tab are logged in detail in the Change Log.
The change log covers the following data sets:
Log Coverage | Label in the Change Log |
|---|---|
Timestamp | Changed at |
Responsible | Changed by |
Changed Data Set | all data field changes |
Permissions to configure the manual fields
This app aligns with the natural confluence permission architecture. This means the manual fields in the space settings can just be configured by either a Space Administrator or a Confluence Administrator.
Usage of the Metadata Macro
Every user with edit permissions in the space can use the metadata macro in the page editor.
