How to set a Classification on a Page

The Page classification can be set directly under the page title. You will find a button named “Data Classification”. If you click on that you can set the classification for your page.

You can find the classification feature directly under the title of a page:

After clicking on the classification element a dialogue will open. Based on the configuration of your app and on your permissions in the space and on the page you might be eligible to change the page data class by selecting the dropdown:

If you are not able to set a data class please contact your Administrator for assistance as it might be that the space your are working in has no Classification Scheme configured.

 

Review the Page Log for Changes

Every page will show it’s own Page Classification Log. You can find this Page Log if you click on the “Data Classification” button. A pop up will open and displaying two tabs. The second tab named “Log” will provide the history for all Page Classification changes including:

  • Who did the change

  • What was the change

  • Reason if the user provides a description

  • Timestamp

  • Associated confluence page history version
